    Job Description

    We are looking for an amazing PEOPLE & CULTURE BUSINESS PARTNER to join our team.

    People & Culture Business Partner will partner with the business and provide employee relations advice, consulting to align business objectives with management and employees. You will liaise with all hiring managers in the business to understand their current and future needs and strategize the best way to grow Nearmap. You will be responsible for adding value to the business by delivering HR programs and services (i.e. Merit, Talent Management, Succession Planning, etc.) contributing to effective business strategy implementation to enhance employee contribution to the business.

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    For this particular role we are seeking people with the following experience:

    BA/BS DEGREE REQUIRED – BA IN HUMAN RESOURCES, BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, OR RELATED FIELD.

    • 3+ years of experience in HR Business Partner position.
    • Recognized HR (People & Culture) certification is a plus.
    • To comply with all COVID-19 related procedures and regulations.
    • Ability to communicate at all levels in the company.
    • Flexible to attend after-hours calls/meetings or work on certain tasks that may fall outside of normal work hours.
    • Familiar with ADP, SmartRecruiters, BambooHR software.
    • To comply with all COVID-19 related procedures and regulations.
    • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Energetic, enthusiastic, with a positive attitude, even when under pressure.
    • High attention to detail.
    • Ability to travel.

    A typical day for you may look like this...

    • Perform employee relations tasks which may involve problem resolution, enhancing communication, training, and career development in multiple locations.
    • Partner with Compensation for the evaluation, leveling and library maintenance. Ensure job descriptions are updated and are an accurate reflection of incumbent positions.
    • Coaching line managers to manage within relevant employment legislation.
    • Guide and assist managers in the development and issuance of performance, behavior, and attendance discipline including warnings and the follow-up and monitoring of employee progress.
    • Assisting line managers to review and challenge existing work practices, and seek opportunities for flexibility, cost savings and efficiencies.
    • Work closely with management and provide guidance in resolving and mediating employee relations matters. Investigate employee relations issues and provide sound guidance in resolving concerns.
    • Prepare, review, interpret and analyze a variety of data, information, and reports making recommendations based on findings.
