    Job Description

    As US Head of Finance, you are responsible for the Commercial Management and Financial Control of the region. You will be a key member of the Revenue Operations leadership team, providing expert Commercial Guidance and Financial Management for the North America business. You will be an integral member of the decision making process, helping to shape the strategic direction of the North America region. You will lead a high performing team responsible for data driven commercial and operational analysis and reporting, and end to end financial management of the region P&L. This includes building operational Budgets and Forecasts, as well as overseeing compliance, tax and treasury functions.

    A TYPICAL DAY FOR YOU MAKE LOOK LIKE THIS...

    • You will be the Finance representative in the US Commercial leadership team
    • Your team will own the identification and tracking of key operational metrics to measure leading indicators of performance
    • Revenue Operations modelling – in-depth understanding of performance drivers from lead acquisition right through to deal closure and customer lifecycle journey. Examples include; conversion rates, velocity, churn & retention, LTV, deal size & structure that will assist in Sales Capacity Planning and Quota Setting.
    • Decision guidance and support to the US Commercial Operations team including business case preparation to advise investment decisions, trend analysis, market sizing, pricing analysis, resource optimisation, pipeline management and ACV forecasting
    • Oversee management of the commission payment process for sales representatives
    • Continuous improvement and optimization of Sales and Marketing processes to drive performance and efficiency
    • Leading the Budgeting and Forecasting processes for the US business
    • Preparation of board papers and presentations to executive team
    • Work closely with Revenue Operations and Data & Analytics teams to support financial planning monthly, quarterly and annual processes
    • Create, implement and maintain a robust forecasting process to allow real time visibility of key Sales and Marketing metrics 
    • Responsible for the management accounting function in the US – month-end, payroll alignment, statutory and management reporting
    • Own closure of the US Commercial business ledgers on a monthly basis within the set timeframe, and provide value-add analytical insight into key trends
    • Assist in the preparation of annual and half-year statutory consolidated financial statements
    • Facilitate review of financial results with the US Leadership Team and Commercial stakeholders
    • Assist in the management of the treasury function including cash flow management, international funding requirements, AP and AR
    • Responsible for compliance deliverables including tax, audit and compliance reporting to regulators in US
    • Responsible for internal financial controls – promoting compliance with and continuous improvement of company policies, controls and internal systems
    • Line management responsibility for Finance Business Partner supporting key US Stakeholders and Leadership
    • Drive high performance in the team through managing and coaching and providing quality feedback
    • Hold team members accountable with clear objectives & KPls
    • Facilitate regular 1:1’s to discuss issues, share knowledge, share achievements, and provide training and direction

    For this particular role we are seeking people with the following experience:

    • 5+ years’ post-degree experience.  SaaS or subscription business experience viewed favorably

    • Strong interpersonal relationship skills

    • Ensure proper communication within the team and to the relevant contacts in the Global segment

    • Ability to effectively delegate and monitor tasks to meet all deadlines

    • Advanced Excel skills 

    • Ability to work in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment

    • Experience in Netsuite, SFDC, PBCS Reporting and Planning, Zuora, Looker helpful

    • Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills

      Strong emotional intelligence

      A drive to continually improve processes

    • Bachelors degree in accounting/business/commerce
