Insurance Agent NOIA is a connection-driven independent insurance agency looking for an exceptional Agent to join our fast-growing team. The Nebraska Owner's Insurance Team is the heart of our success. Highly trained, people-oriented, and motivated by serving others. We always do what is best for our clients and we are at our very best when we rely on each other. This position is a sales position and requires a producer's license or the ability to obtain one. This is a full-time position. Customer Service duties include, but are not limited to: * Connect with clients providing objective solutions to meet their insurance needs * Ability to professionally conduct appointments with clients in a variety of formats: in-person, virtual, and by phone * Provide policyholder service as needed to educate, resolve policy issues, and advocate on behalf of the client * Effectively develop referral networks from the existing client base and community involvement * Develops and executes marketing plan with assistance * Meet NOIA standards and sales expectations * Willingness and commitment to continual learning, continuing education, and keeping all required certifications up to date * Analyze requests and provide information necessary to handle client needs * Create accurate and timely customer quotations, and follow-ups with customers as needed * Enter data into appropriate computer system * Calculate premiums and establish payment methods * Monitor insurance claims and help clients settle them * Fulfill all policy requirements * Customizing insurance programs to suit individual customer needs * Inspecting property to examine its overall condition and decide its insurance risk (p&c) * Acting as an intermediary between a customer and the insurance company Education: High School Diploma or GED required. College-level credentials such as AS, BS, and BA preferred Licensing/Registration/Certification: Nebraska Insurance License preferred Preferred experience in an insurance agency Skills Knowledge and Abilities: * Experience with Applied Epic a bonus * Passionate, motivated and goal-oriented * Excellent communication and time management skills * Insurance License required or ability to obtain * College degree or equivalent job experience preferred * Prior sales experience
