Small startup seeking full time Project Manager to start ASAP

The Project Manager will:

- Coordinate multiple business license application processes in several states

- Identify licensing opportunities

- Analyze municipal code

- Research and strategize to rank opportunities, with an emphasis on hands-on real estate, zoning, and GIS mapping research

- Work independently while being available to colleagues

- Provide regular updates to the owners

Compensation:

The Project Manager will work 40 hours per week and must be willing to work outside regular business hours to meet deadlines. Salary range $60-70K DOE. Benefits include health insurance.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following background and skills:

Required:

- Ability to make a 1 year commitment.

- Comfortable working remotely; participating in video calls; and traveling as needed.

- Ability to comprehend and interpret local and state code and regulations.

- Ability to analyze specific market demographics i.e. market size, number of licenses available, and local competition.

- Ability to interpret zoning maps, in order to identify and list specific parcels that are favorable candidates for licensure.

- Confident navigating local political processes and having direct contact with municipalities.

- Detail-oriented with exceptional communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to manage multiple application processes simultaneously.

- Strong writing and proofreading skills. Application materials need to be tailored to each specific jurisdiction.

- Advanced MS Office skills.

Preferred:

- Experience with privileged permitting and municipal licensing in a highly regulated and competitive industry - or similar experience.

- Experience protecting sensitive information.

- Interest in using project management software to maximize efficiency and accountability.
