    Job Description

    SUMMARY

    The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for many of the day-to-day activities in the Human Resources department. S/he will provide support within the Human Resources area, with other operational areas assigned as needed.     ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

    • Coordinate and assist with tasks associated with new employee onboarding and orientation 

    • Maintain employee records and assist in processing updates 

    • Assist with employee engagement related tasks 

    • Assist with employee benefits and annual open enrollment 

    • Professional licensing support for individual and firm related renewals 

    • Assist the HR department with special projects 

    • Provide general support to operations area(s)

      

      ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR PERFORMING THE JOB 

    • Self-motivated 

    • Professional 

    • Detail-oriented 

    • Superior oral and written communication skills and a focus on client service 

    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and demonstrate effective time management skills by completing assignments within given due date

     

      REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

    • Bachelor's degree required. Preferably in Human Resources or other related business fields
    • General office experience preferred 
    • 1-2 years of Human Resources experience preferred, but not required

     

      POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS  This is a full-time position. Some flexibility in hours is permitted, but s/he must be available during the standard work hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.    PHYSICAL DEMANDS  This position is considered Sedentary. An employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, reach, type, talk, and hear.  Majority of the time is spent in a typical office environment.    TRAVEL  Travel requirements for the position are minimal.
