Job Summary: We are seeking caring and reliable caregivers to provide companionship care to residents at a nursing facility. The main goal is to offer social interaction, encouragement, and support for residents’ hobbies and daily activities, helping them feel engaged and comfortable in their environment.

Schedule: 2 hours per visit, 3 visits per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Spend time talking and engaging in conversation with residents.
• Play games, watch TV, or participate in hobbies and activities with residents.
• Make phone calls or assist residents with communication as needed.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement.
• Observe and report any changes in residents’ well-being to the facility staff or agency.
• Follow facility and agency policies, procedures, and care plans.

Qualifications:

• Compassionate, patient, and attentive.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain resident confidentiality.
• Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required.
