Nelson Elder Care Law is searching for a client-centered and results-driven individual to join our firm. We prioritize client dedication, taking ownership, maintaining humble confidence, executing tasks effectively, and working collaboratively. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a crucial role in supporting families by offering legal advice and developing strategies to instill confidence and meet their needs, as well as representing clients in a court of law. Responsibilities: • Leads and oversees Client Probate and Guardianship Experience, overseeing all cases to ensure timeliness on all deadlines are met • Conduct Planning Meetings with clients, assess their needs, and develop strategies to meet probate and guardianship needs • Provides legal advice and direction to clients and Probate Team • Show compassion when interacting with clients to earn their trust and build confidence • Educate clients and answer questions to ensure understanding of probate process and plan • Gather needed information including client details, and designations, and confirm referrals. Provide these meeting details as soon as possible after Planning Meeting to assigned Paralegal • Serve as point of contact for client legal questions that require an Attorney • Update CRM system with meeting or call details on every interaction • Follow-up with clients to maintain relationships • Manage caseload with minimal oversight and work directly with legal team members to ensure clients’ goals are met within the expected timeframe • Provide excellent service to ensure client has exceptional client experience Qualifications: • Admitted to the Georgia Bar and in good standing • Relevant experience related to one or more of the firm’s practice areas • Strong negotiation skills, including the willingness and ability to reconcile differences and find mutual wins • Excellent communication ability, this includes using appropriate tone and professionalism when engaging with clients • Strong ethical compass • Prior supervisory experience preferred • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment • A self-starter with a positive attitude, resilient emotional intelligence, strong work ethic, and good judgment Compensation: $150,000 (Base, plus Incentives)
