Nelson & Galbreath, LLC Is seeking a Part-Time Law Firm Courier to serve their offices in Upstate South Carolina.
Law Firm Courier
The Law Firm Courier is a hands-on support position requiring a flexible and can-do mindset. The ideal candidate is a gap year law or grad student with exceptional communication, time management and organizational skills.
Key functions include:
DOCUMENT TRANSMITTAL
- Handle time sensitive documents that are confidential in nature
- Communicate with relevant staff members on the status of all deliveries and document recordings (i.e.- plats, deeds, keys, checks)
OFFICE SUPPORT
- Take inventory of supplies and notifying guest services of low or depleted supplies at the beginning of each day
- Prepare the main office for operations each day by stocking bathrooms, filling copiers with paper and clearing office trash and delivering to dumpster
- Purchase and deliver supplies as needed to offices such as paper, water, snacks, and drinks for clients
SPECIAL PROJECTS AND TASKS
- Move, deliver and set-up furniture for events or office moves
- Run errands for Senior Management and/or Managing Partner
- Perform other duties as assigned
BACKGROUND/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possesses a positive and professional image
- Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal oversight while managing a high volume of tasks
- Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs. and handle all physical requirements for loading, transporting, and driving with no assistance.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate exceptional organization, attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
- Exhibit proficient computer skills and a willingness to learn industry software
