  • Responsibilities

    Our Director of National Sales is a sale professional responsible for developing sales strategies and managing sales team in order to achieve set sales goals, targets and revenue. As our National Sales Director you have be energetic, persuasive and well organized and able to demonstrate the ability to sell and lead a team to victory.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities include:

    Responsible for building new and maintaining existing relationships with financial advisors.

    Conduct joint meetings/calls with financial advisors and clients to educate and promote tax deferred real estate exchanges.

    Actively consult and advise financial advisors to provide them with value-added strategies to increase the business with their clients.

    Strategically plan and manage the deployment of resources to maximize territorial sales while being responsible for budgeting and expenses.

    Data Analysis: Track, manage and increase business through interactive Salesforce tools

    Competent with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com

    Create new and strong relationships with investors

    Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotes for territories and projecting expected sales volumes and profit for existing and new products.

    EXCELLENT interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences

    Help coach and mentor the Closing Coordinator, Investor Relations and Sales Department.

    Keen business sense, with the ability to find creative business-oriented solutions to problems

    Keeps all required security licenses up to date

    Lead nationwide sales team member to achieve sales targets

    Maintain sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees, As well as counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results

    Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional groups.

    Monitor the quality of marketing and sales information and define data improvement programs

    Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities

    Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

    Stay up to date on all rules and regulations dealing with 1031 Exchange

    Understand the competitive landscape and market trends

    Business and Technical Skills

    5+ years sales experience wholesaling 1031 exchanges products in the industry (internal, external or combination)

    Prior point of sale experience

    Proven ability to build strong relationships

    Proven ability to grow a territory as measured by sales and persistency of business

    Must hold a valid FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 license

    Ability to work independently and to communicate clearly and concisely

    Thorough knowledge of and proven ability to demonstrate sales and marketing principles and practices at the point of sale

    Excellent presentation skills, both in creation and delivery, to current and prospective clients

    Expected to maintain a thorough knowledge of existing, new and enhanced products

    Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
