    VP of Communications (Real Estate and Property Management)

    A VP of Communications at Nelson Partners is the individual in charge of communications in the organization, most often the external communication with clients, investors, and other interested parties. Part of their work is more commonly known as public relations. This includes having a thorough understanding of various types of media, including print, visual, written, and web-based. In addition to understanding these forms of communication, this individual must be an exceptional communicator, as part of their job often entails imparting information at meetings, conferences, and other presentations.

    Job responsibilities:

    Having a thorough knowledge of the industry and the organization's goals and message

    Targeting the right audience and working to change public perception as needed

    Understanding the industry's political environment and interpersonal relationships and developing messages as appropriate

    Developing communications campaigns for special initiatives or to meet a departmental or organizational goal

    Qualifications:

    You have proven and consistent perfection in communications and able to adjust in the moment to exceed the expectations of the leadership team, customers, partners and employees.

    Communications professional with 10+ years of experience in Communications.You have successfully manage creative and impactful messaging, and have the ability to make the most sophisticated story relatable and easy to consume

    You are able to build relationships at all levels of the organization

    You understand a strategy and drive the necessary communications to ensure its success Experienced in advising and working directly with senior executives

    You are curious, innovative and digital-savvy, with vast experience in message creation and storytelling

    You love challenge and are willing to give your point of view, whilst offering ideas and solutions A talented and empathetic people manager and leader

    You love working in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated and can thrive under pressure

    Compensation:

    Compensation based on experience and candidate’s qualifications; including performance-based bonus
