    We are looking for an experience and well rounded Regional Manager to join our team!

    This is a remote position in which the portfolio will be located on the West Coast and the South West including Utah.

    Our Ideal Candidate:

    Brand new construction and new lease up experience is a plus!

    Regional Manager experience is required

    Has a strong Leasing, Marketing, and Operations background

    Has experienced working in multiple markets

    Job Duties:

    On a routine basis, review the physical aspects of each portfolio property to make sure that the property is clean, appealing and marketable, vacant units are move-in ready, that the marketing plan is being followed, and those commission payments are correctly recorded and paid.

    Consult and mentor on-site managers to analyze specific opportunities for improvement, provide solutions, and monitor outcomes.

    Identify and mitigate liability concerns at the property.

    Work diligently with Property Managers in preparation of annual operating budgets.

    Monitor budget control by reviewing all purchase orders for the region.

    Complete monthly financial review with variances to ensure the region's communities meet established operational and business goals.

    Monitor property maintenance issues and recommend capital improvements as needed to maintain the community market position.

    Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

    As requested, assist with special operations such as due diligence, property acquisitions, disposition, and support to other regions when needed.

    Hire, train, and counsel direct reports and evaluate the associates’ performance.

    Assist site teams with unfamiliar and crisis situations.

    Develop a detailed leasing and marketing plan for ownership approval and oversee implementation to meet all goals; monitor and adjust with ownership regularly.

    Establish and maintain relationships with administration and housing officials at targeted universities and educational institutions.

    Step in as acting Property Manager in the absence of such a position at any of his/her properties that he/she oversees.

    Be willing to travel 25-50% of the time, or as business needs dictate.
