Marketing & Leasing Summer Internship Program-
Summer Internship program targets college students or grads who have a passion for learning ins and outs of Student Housing and want to gain hands-on practical experience.
The Nelson Partners Internship is constantly seeking highly motivated, hardworking applicants to join our team. College Students with an interest in Marketing & Sales are encouraged to apply. Our summer internship program provides each intern with hands-on opportunities to impact the team while gaining insight into the Student Housing field. This internship will involve working approximately 40 hours per week for a duration of 4-10 weeks depending on your availability.
Job Responsibilities/ Requirements
Assist Leasing in Identifying and targeting prospective tenants
Effectively show, lease and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour community, and sign lease
Perform various administrative tasks as needed
Assist in implementing annual marketing plan outreach
Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters
Deal with residents’ complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure resident satisfaction
Assist in developing and implementing resident retention programs(e.g. resident functions, special promotions, Marketing events).
Calling both prospective residents and potential residents suited for Student Housing.
May assist with other related projects or duties
Utilized establish sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios and achieve budgeted occupancy
Give tours to prospective future residents
Assist Property Managers with Operations of the properties
Assist Regional Leasing Marketing Directors with Leasing Events
Assist the Vice President of Leasing & Marketing on special projects

Internship or work experience in Sales or Marketing preferred
