    Nemedio is reinventing the way that medical devices are brought to market. We provide software, hardware and quality tools that companies can use as a foundation to jumpstart their advanced medical device development process. We also provide engineering and regulatory support to customers to help create their device, and to integrate with our tool suite.

    As a Front End Software Engineer at Nemedio you will join an experienced team tasked with tackling a wide range of problems. As a front end software engineer you will be responsible for the development of scalable web apps to fit our growing needs as a business and application. You will operate across the entire product, interact with each functional arm of the company and be able to provide a significant impact to a growing company across the board.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Plan and develop technical changes across our React application
    • Interact with backend APIs and architecture
    • Coordinate with design and product teams to ensure the right implementation is put into place
    • Be a force for ensuring best engineering practices

    Qualifications:

    • Interest in medical devices, robotics, and physical device design

    • 3+ years of React experience with in depth knowledge of:

      • Javascript/ES5+
      • Modern HTML and CSS best practices
      • Module packaging software (Yarn, NPM, etc)
      • Front end testing (capybara, cucumber, testcafe, etc)
    • Experience working with Ruby on Rails or equivalent OO framework

    • Experience working with standard API technologies (REST, GraphQL)

    • Ambition for continuous learning and growing

    • Collaborates easily with product and design during the planning and development process

    • Has a testing mindset and views testing as a required practice in the SDLC

    • Knowledge of web security best practices and how they relate to web applications

    • Experience working in an agile environment
