    Nemedio is reinventing the way that medical devices are brought to market. We provide software, hardware and quality tools that companies can use as a foundation to jumpstart their advanced medical device development process. We also provide engineering and regulatory support to customers to help create their device, and to integrate with our tool suite.

    As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Nemedio you will join an experienced team tasked with tackling a wide range of problems. Engineers are responsible for planning, architecting and developing solutions to the medical device industry's hard problems. You will operate across the entire product, interact with each functional arm of the company and be able to provide a significant impact to a growing company across the board.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Plan, develop and test across our our tech stack (React, GraphQL, Rails and Postgres)
    • Work side by side with design and product teams to ensure the right implementation is put into place
    • Operate in a team environment that values collaboration and growth through code reviews, mentorship and communication
    • Interface with business stakeholders to help merge our processes with medical industry best practices to make our teams most efficient

    Qualifications:

    • Interest in medical devices, robotics, and physical device design
    • 3+ years of development experience
    • Experience with full stack web application and working across each layer (frontend, backend, database)
    • Proficient in Ruby on Rails or equivalent OO framework
    • Skilled in modern front end technologies (React, Angular, Ember)
    • Experience working with standard API technologies (REST, GraphQL)
    • Ambition for continuous learning and growing
    • Has a testing mindset and views testing as a required practice in the SDLC
    • Knowledge of web security best practices and how they relate to web applications
    • Experience working in an agile environment
