    PIH Health is seeking a full-time, Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Nephrologist to join our long-standing and highly reputable Nephrology group in Whittier, CA.     Position Summary:

    The Nephrologist will provide comprehensive care for inpatient, outpatient, and dialysis patients, collaborating closely with the Nephrology team, hospital staff, and specialty colleagues. This role offers a balance of clinical responsibility, patient interaction, and opportunities for leadership within the practice.

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
    • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Nephrology
    • Eligible for or holding an active California medical license
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
    • Experience in hospital consults, outpatient clinics, and dialysis care preferred
  • Qualifications

    EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • Current Illinois Nursing License
    • Current BLS, ACLS 
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in Pre-Op/PACU
    • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
    • Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred.
