    Job Summary

    The Computer Services Technician will complete small business network installations, desktop configurations, installations and upgrades of personal and business computer hardware and software, perform inventories and preventative maintenance, provide network troubleshooting support, and software and operating system support on Mac and all versions of Windows. We are looking for IT support technicians with a strong field service background and customer service skills, solid technical skills, good communication skills and the desire to be a part of growing and exciting team! Base salary of $22-$30 per hour with potential for generous monthly commissions on top of base salary (top performing technicians are receiving $40/hr incl. commissions).

    Responsibilities

    Onsite computer solutions for Windows-based PCs and Apple computers

    Network installation and maintenance (wired, wireless, LAN, WAN)

    Data recovery and loss prevention

    Virus protection and Spyware/Adware removal

    Computer security enhancement

    PC Hardware and software fault isolation and repair

    System repair and upgrades

    Software upgrade and installation

    Working with non-technical customers and setting them at ease

    Qualifications

    3-5 years of experience with Windows-based PCs (Win7, Win8, Win10, Win11), Mac, and networking

    Strong knowledge of PC troubleshooting and repair, both hardware and software/OS

    Knowledge of network troubleshooting, wiring, PC troubleshooting (ex. Network+, MCSE, etc.)

    Proficiency with peer-to-peer and client/server network configurations and troubleshooting

    Managed Services Provider (MSP) experience a plus
