    Bilingual Preferred Nest Mortgaging is actively seeking a proficient Mortgage Operations and Processing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of mortgage experience with strong skills in processing and underwriting and a proven track record of meeting sales goals with their team. While Spanish-speaking capabilities are preferred, they are not mandatory. Your role will involve structuring loan files, conducting income calculations, and navigating through various lenders to find the optimal mortgage product for our clients. You will oversee all lending functions which may include sales, pre-approvals, processing, and closing. You will also ensure that if there are any underwriting problems, they are quickly resolved so that we deliver a quality loan product to our clients in an efficient timeframe. Desired Personal Characteristics: • Self-starter with a positive Can-Do attitude. • Detail-oriented and committed to the highest quality • Works well under pressure and embraces change and innovation. • Results-driven with high integrity and confidentiality. • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. • Problem-solving, analysis, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Responsibilities: • Maintain responsibility for all lending functions which may include but are not limited to funding, processing, and closing • Follow the loan pipeline carefully to make sure that internal compliance policies are being adhered to and customers are satisfied with our service • Assure that required loan documentation is recorded in the LOS and CRM • Work with Processing and Underwriting teams to clear conditions, resolve any issues, and restructure the loan as needed to ensure a timely, smooth, and successful loan closure • Hold weekly pipeline meetings that review every loan scheduled to close in detail over the next 60 days • Update and maintain workflows, procedures, and policies to make sure operations run smoothly and address challenges with strategic solutions as they come up • Utilize extensive underwriting and processing experience to effectively structure loan files. • Conduct income calculations and shop through multiple lenders to find the right mortgage product for clients • Anticipate and proactively address potential issues in loan files • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the mortgage process • Collaborate with the loan officer to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow • Keep abreast of industry trends and changes to ensure compliance • Act as a problem-solver, ensuring smooth operations and resolving challenges • Support the loan officer in maintaining a focus on sales by handling the intricacies of loan files • Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, you should have strong knowledge of Google Suite and/or Microsoft products, CRMs (Bonzo & GoHighLevel), Arive (LOS/POS) • Must be extremely organized and efficient Qualifications: • A self-starter, problem-solver, and decision-maker with a can-do attitude who embraces challenges and can multitask in a fast-paced environment • Demonstrates a commitment to integrity and client confidentiality and can work well under pressure • Excellent skills in leading, training, developing, motivating, and inspiring teams through dedicated communication and management • At least 5 years of mortgage experience with exceptional underwriting and processing skills and at a minimum of 3-5 years of management or supervisory experience • Extensive knowledge of guidelines, documentation and procedures for Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans, including Texas 50A6 Refinances • General knowledge of Non-QM products such as DSCR loans, Bank Statement Loans, Bridge Loans, Fix-n-flip, ITIN, Foreign National, etc • Ability to structure loan files and conduct income calculations • Experience in shopping through multiple lenders to find the right mortgage product • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate issues • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the loan officer • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results • NMLS license required, with a preference for Texas licensure. If not currently licensed, must be willing to get a license within 90 days • Broker experience in the mortgage industry, especially with UWM, is highly preferred. • Proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required Compensation: $40,000 - $60,000 annually
