Overview

We are looking for a highly talented creative students who want to pursue a career in marketing and ad copy writing. In this role, you’ll create awesome content for all our marketing channels—from Facebook to YouTube, social to email, web to print. The ideal candidate is passionate about honing their skills as a best practice writer/marketeer, and eager to grow their knowledge of brand marketing. 

Responsibilities

• Learn how to define the Nested Bean voice and tone for each of our audiences
• Get coached to WRITE X-CHANNEL COPY that tells a unified brand story, improves our customer experiences and aids conversions to a specific business goal. Platforms include Facebook, email, social paid ads, YouTube to name a few
• Work with Content, Marketing, Design and UX teams to DEVELOP STRATEGIC CONTENT PLANS and content-rich campaigns
• WRITE KEYWORD RICH BLOG CONTENT that is optimized for online search using SEO best practices
• LEARN TO OPTIMIZE existing website content based on keyword analysis, competitor analysis, and on-page behavior analysis
• DEVELOP YOURSELF INTO AN AGILE PROBLEM-SOLVER, COLLABORATOR AND BUSINESS THINKER
• Ensure copy adheres to brand standards, leverages best practices and reflects current trends
• Demonstrate strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills

Qualifications

• Must be a junior, senior or recent graduate from or in an undergraduate or graduate communication or creative degree
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Extremely detail oriented and punctual
• Extreme curiosity towards analyzing content to improve its performance
• Fluency with Microsoft Office (Adobe Creative Suite a plus)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without any present or future need for work authorization sponsorship

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Strong written communication skills
• Proficient in website design or front end developing
• Experience in photography
• Experience in marketing or a related field through prior internships
• Experience writing for both long- and short-form content for school or prior internships a plus

Additional Information

• Position begins ASAP
• Position includes a monthly stipend depending on experience/skill level
• Internship will last for the remainder of the semester but can be extended through Fall/Winter, Spring/Summer as well, depending on performance and fit
• If a recent grad, this could be a full-time or part-time position
• Full-time hire post internship is a possibility based on performance
