    THIS IS A SHORT-TERM CONTINGENT POSITION FROM NOW UNTIL END OF BEGINNING OF AUGUST

    POSITION IS LOCATED IN ST. LOUIS, MO.  LOCAL CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED. HYBRID ENVIRONMENT IS AVAILABLE. 

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be a member of the Customer Facing Supply Chain Team and focused on driving cost-effective efficiencies to deliver business value within NPPC's Supply Chain. Your primary focuses will include but not limited to; identifying opportunities within the supply chain and creating cross- functional processes to drive service levels, KPI's and category distribution. With strong verbal and written communication skills, you will have the ability to tell a story with data, driving insight to action. You will also collaborate with supply chain leadership on providing scope and direction regarding departmental projects designed to improve the full supply chain lifecycle. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Chewy Impact: • Develop business solutions utilizing a variety of technological tools (Business Objects, SAP Reporting, Power Business Intelligence). • Chewy data management, including upkeep and development • Cross functional understanding of Chewy business with increased focus on fill rate performance, including trends analysis, catalog efficiencies, allotment management, WBR report out and ad hoc requests. • Partner with internal and external customer counterparts on finding process improvements within the supply chain model which are mutually beneficial to both NPPC & Customer. • EDI Error Troubleshooting Departmental Impact: • Provide recommendations to NPPC leadership on opportunities identified within the supply chain model. • Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects, coordinating with multiple departments within NPPC. • Mentor and train personnel in trend analysis, cost-effectiveness and customer engagement within customer facing. • Participation in departmental initiatives and projects. DAILY/WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • SAP Transaction/Order Detail report running
    • Tracking item activity (on/off for customer ordering)
    • Share Point File maintenance- formatting and moving customer files to enable data automation scraping
    • Reviewing EDI transaction errors and trouble shooting
    • Oversight of Chewy/Internal team process file completion checks
    • Compilation of customer pallet compliance presentations (creating and compiling posted photos and email data into power points)
    • Creation of weekly pallet quality violation recaps
    • Creating and maintaining delivery appointment scheduling for inbound direct shipping executions
    • Assisting in research and reason coding missed delivery appointments
    • Tracking Orders
    • Possible uploads of forecasts into SAP tools for sales and operations planning assistance EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED Ideally candidate will have an education in Supply Chain, or some experience with Supply Chain responsibilities.
    • Excel/PowerPoint
    • Some SAP/SharePoint familiarity OR technical competency of picking up new tools
    • Attention to detail
    • Experience running reports and compiling data
