Responsibilities: Help patients complete exercise, and physical therapy and ambulate the patient as indicated in the care plan Complete basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs, measuring glucose and ketone levels, replacing bandages and dressings, and ensuring the proper use of medical devices Maintain psychological and emotional support for patients and family members - provide quality companionship Mitigate issues with medications by helping to open bottles, organizing self-administered dosing, and arranging for refills, and help the patient with meal preparation and planning Enable patients to complete personal hygiene tasks like bathing, toileting, shaving, grooming, dressing, etc. Qualifications: Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, you may be required to stoop, bend, reach, and transfer patients up to 250 lbs as needed Pass a full employment background check, drug test, and physical, and possess current CPR certification and first aid training 1-3 years of experience as an HHA/ home health aide, personal caregiver, nursing assistant, or personal care aid for a home health agency, at patient homes or care facilities settings is needed A valid state driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance is required Compassionate, kind, and empathetic personality is essential, with superb organization and communications skills Compensation: $18 - $25 hourly
