    Job Description

    Join our team in modernizing a state agency system by developing a secure, efficient, and fully digital application. This position involves working closely with business analysts, UI/UX designers, and QA teams to build a robust solution using the Microsoft .NET stack.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain application components based on technical specifications.
    • Write clear, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
    • Perform unit and integration testing; participate in code reviews.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve technical issues.
    • Manage deployments to various environments (development, testing, production).
    • Document code, processes, and system configurations clearly.
    • Provide post-implementation support and training to state engineers.
    • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum processes.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
    • At least 3 years of experience with C# and .NET Framework (.NET 6/7 preferred).
    • Strong proficiency in ASP.NET MVC/Core.
    • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, Entity Framework, or ADO.NET.
    • Proficiency in Visual Studio and Git for version control.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
    • Capable of effectively managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience with Azure services (App Services, Azure SQL, DevOps).
    • Familiarity with front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Blazor).
    • Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
    • Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
    • Previous work on government or enterprise-level applications.
    • Familiarity with best coding practices, async operations, and security scanning tools.
    • Proficiency with Visual Studio analyzers, code standard tools (.editorconfig), and spell-check extensions.
    • Experience with Azure DevOps branching strategies, pull request validation, and automated build processes.
