This position is on-site and located in Greensboro, NC

Skills and Experience:

• BSEE/BSME or MSEE/MSME with 10+ years of experience in commercial vehicle or automotive product development.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Detailed knowledge of Electronic Hardware / Software & Supporting Infrastructure Architecture Design & Overall Development.
• Knowledge of different automotive communication protocols, standards & tools.
• Experience with tools related to software development, diagnostics, and production/aftermarket systems.
• Familiarity with global/local organizational environments with cross-functional interaction.
• Proficiency in Agile way of working & SAFe, with a good understanding of project operations.
• Knowledge of Quality Management (QMS), SFMEA, Product Quality Assurance, and Quality tools.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for releasing HW & SW design solutions for Electronic components in the Vehicle functions or body controls and body builder specific functions, applicable for North American truck products.

• Work with global technology development teams ( Bangalore & Sweden ) to track the platform development progress and also be take part in discussions with Tier-1 supplier of components

• Follow level 4 time plan activities and milestones

• Work with component installations for radars & cameras and other ECUs is needed

• Work with truck integration team for solving issues arising due to it on the component side

• Respond to defect reports and follow the defect report process for till resolution

• Document SW configurations for various variant combinations & ESW SW release process is mandatory

• Work with Canalyzer tools and analyze log files and perform trouble shooting

• Download Software using factory, engineering & service tools

• Perform minimum smoke test on bench before delivering to integration teams

• Take part in PI planning and breakdown features to stories and tasks and follow-up though sprints

• Will need to work on trucks when needed to de-bug and trouble shoot issues
