Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Help Desk Intern to support a client. As a Help Desk Intern you will be responsible for participating in, communicating, and documenting project closeout actions to include scheduling post-migration activities and tracking validation of task accomplishments with healthcare IT leaders, Capability Managers, Subject Matter Experts (SME) and associated internal/external stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Document and report on project closeout procedures for medical network transition to sustainment
• Input, track, and trend trouble tickets within Remedy (IT trouble ticketing system)
• Update and maintain Remedy reporting tools to include Cleanup and Closeout web-based Dashboards
• Act as liaison with sites POC for all IT-related issues. Facilitate communications and track open items to resolution
• Assist with client meeting arrangements and tracking actions items along with varies other activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree in related field
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance
• Ability to work effectively with technical and functional team members and Federal government clients

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

• Proficient in MS Office suite
• Familiar with IT ticketing systems such as Remedy
• Demonstrated ability to handle competing priorities
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent presentation & communication skills in both oral and written form
• Customer service/Helpdesk experience
