    Job Description

    We have an opportunity for a Database Administrator Intern with demonstrated experience turning raw data into effective plans to support our client project. All database work is done in a SQL Server 2016 environment along with SSMS v18.4.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Processing raw data from MTF and GSU to develop into IP Plans using Excel.
    • Publishing and re-publishing of IP Plan change requests via Sharepoint and Remedy ticketing system.
    • Assisting engineers with formatting/usability issues of the IP Plan template.
    • Updating backend IP Plan databases including all supporting tables and views.
    • Maintaining and updating the global database to support queries/reports requested by management.
    • Working with the operations center to ensure that database cluster is operational and all site plans are accounted for.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Enrolled in a degree program conferring BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related equivalent
    • 0-1+ years of experience in Database Administration
    • Familiarity with SQL Server 2016 environment along with SSMS v18.4.
    • Familiarity with SharePoint and Microsoft Office tools
    • Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities and able to resolve business issues
    • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
    • Genuine desire to learn is essential
    • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Secret Security clearance
    • Ability to work effectively with technical and functional team members and Federal government clients
