    Position Description

    NetSEA Technologies an Engineer or Technician to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This position supports C5ISR state of the art concepts and technology design, development, testing and troubleshooting as part of the Engineering and Systems Integration Directorate (ES&I), in The Prototype Integration Facility (PIF). The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of PTC Creo Schematics and PTC Creo Parametric with Piping and Cabling Extension (PCX), Harness Manufacturing Extension (HMS) and Windchill PLM for electrical design and documentation.

    Clearance Level : DoD SECRET or higher clearance preferred.

    Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

    Hours: Normal business hours Monday - Friday

    Travel: up to 25%

    Duties include, but not limited to:

    The successful candidate will support the mission of the C5ISR Center ES&I, Ground Integration and Engineering Division, Electrical Engineering Branch, using CAD software to document electrical design and will suggest and implement improvements in design methods and procedures

    Requirements:

    The required skills and knowledge include:

    • US Citizenship and Must Currently Possess an Active Secret Clearance

    • Ability to communicate and work in an integrated team of Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, CAD designers, electrical integrators and technicians throughout the design, build, test and fielding process.

    • Creo Parametric 7.0 or newer

    • Creo Piping and Cabling Extension (PCX)

    • Creo Harness Manufacturing Extension (HMS)

    • Creo Schematics

    • Windchill PLM

    • Ability to read and create electrical CAD models and drawings

    • Familiarity with military specifications and standards, SAE standards, and IPC/WHMA-A-620

    • Ability to perform in an independent working environment directly supporting customers

    • Microsoft 365

    The minimum years of related experience required:

    • A minimum of 5-7 years PTC Creo experience with cable harness routing, preferably on vehicles and large assemblies.

    Education:

    The minimum level of education required is:

    • Associate degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.

    • 8 years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education.

    • Works collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams to define cross-functional interfaces

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to troubleshoot software issues.

    • Ability to identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and implement them

    • Ability to document procedures

    • Familiarity with data organization (databases, CAD libraries)

    • Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Teams)

    • Experience with schematic design and CAD tools (PTC CREO, Solidworks, AutoCAD etc.)

    • Familiarity with military and commercial industry standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620, ASME Y14 Standards, etc.
