We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NetSuite Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. This successful candidate must have deep NetSuite experience and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Construction accounting and financial management, with a keen ability to analyze and reconcile accounts. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization.
Lead and manage month-end and quarter-end close processes in accordance with GAAP
Oversee all NetSuite financial modules: GL, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition
Review and refine chart of accounts, reporting structure, and system workflows
Create and maintain custom NetSuite reports, dashboards, and KPIs
Implement internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance and audit readiness
Keen awareness of the bank match data process and account reconciliations
Reconcile legacy financial data and clean up prior inconsistencies within NetSuite
Collaborate with department leaders to align financials with operational goals
Implement financial strategies that align with organizational goals, including forecasting future financial performance.
Collaborate with public accounting firms for audits and ensure timely completion of all audit requirements.
Train and support internal accounting staff on best practices
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
8+ years in finance and accounting leadership roles (Controller or CFO level)
Hands-on expertise with NetSuite ERP, including reporting and configuration
Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
Proven success leading finance functions during periods of change or rapid growth
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Self-starter able to hit the ground running in a contract role
