Title: Project Foreman (C-10 Licensed)

Location: Northern or Southern California (Offices in Walnut Creek and Ontario)

Salary Range: $75,000 - $150,000

Job Description:

The Project Foreman will oversee and manage all aspects of NetXperts low voltage work from inception to completion. This individual will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers and subcontractors on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. It is required that this individual currently holds an active C-10 contractor’s license.

Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
• Develop and implement work schedules, set project milestones, and ensure alignment with project timelines and goals.
• Manage materials, equipment, and manpower effectively to optimize productivity and meet project requirements.
• Monitor work quality, enforce compliance with building codes, blueprints, and specifications to ensure high-quality construction standards are maintained.
• Enforce safety protocols and regulations, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure a safe work environment for all workers.
• Address any issues or challenges that arise during construction, make decisions, and implement solutions to keep the project on track.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide regular updates on project progress, discuss challenges, and resolve any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, on-site incidents, and any changes to the original project plan.

Requirements:

• Actively holds a C-10 Contractor’s license
• C-7 license preferred but not required
• Knowledge of industry standards and typologies
• Proven experience as a construction foreman or similar role in the industry.
• In-depth knowledge of procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and documents.
• Ability to make decisions quickly and solve problems effectively.
• Strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in structured cabling and installation field.
• OSHA10 or OSHA30 preferred
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Flexible schedule (ability to work day shift, night shift, and some weekends, depending on projects and customers)
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized
• Willing to travel if needed
• Ability to pass drug/background check when required
