    Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the field with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects. As a Principal Engineer, you will play a key role in driving technical innovation, providing technical leadership, and contributing to the overall success of our engineering initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the design and development of project needs from concept to production, ensuring high-quality and efficient solutions.
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Architect and implement scalable and robust solutions that meet both current and future business needs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, sales, and operations, to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.
    • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and design principles.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing guidance to the team in problem-solving.

    Qualifications:

    • CCIE Required
    • Previous experience (academic or internship) working as a principal engineer.
    • Additional Cisco Certifications preferred.
    • Cisco product experience or meaningful experience in key competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis highly preferred
    • BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent required
    • Ability to juggle and finish multiple tasks
    • Able to lead technical discussions with technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to drive technical innovation and foster a culture of excellence within an engineering team.
