    Detailed Description

    The Service Provider Solutions Architect will be responsible for owning the Optical, Wide Area Networking and other key business within the Service Provider market with focus in the central and western region of the United States while participating as a member of a greater team to drive incremental revenue for Netsync as a whole: 

    The Service Provider Solutions Architect will have the following responsibilities:

    • Providing technical expertise for the Netsync Sales Teams within customer and partner engagements.
    • Translate customer's technical requirements into a comprehensive Solution.
    • Work collaboratively with the NetSync Senior Management, Sales Leadership and the other technology practices building customer relations and identifying strategic opportunities.
    • Understand the fundamentals of Core WAN and Optical architectures and technology and be able to present Netsync's delivery, implementation and managed service offerings for these solutions.
    • Contribute to team's ability to meet revenue and profit targets.
    • Work with valued internal resources to provide the technical content details for RFP Response deliveries and customer deliverables.
    • Provide key technical and strategy information into the Netsync Marketing organization to develop external facing collateral.
    • Create and deliver presentations and white papers for customer consumption and opportunity development.
    • Develop rapport and strong positive relationships with customers, partners and manufacturers to become a trusted technical and business advisor.
    • Drive business development throughout the individuals respective geography to discover and identify new opportunities.
    • Present and articulate Netsync and OEM partners' value proposition.
    • Strive towards continued education and keeping pace with the industry advancement.
    • Provide technical oversight on solution design proposals.
    • Effectively deliver knowledge sharing and transfer with both technical and non-technical audiences comprised of internal or external attendees.
    • Assist with strategy development on how to best position technology internally and externally, including management, driving and reporting all corresponding architecture opportunities, and achieving financial targets related to revenue growth and gross profit.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Experience to meet the role responsibilities (usually 5+ years of experience)
    • Strong presentation skills and ability to drive customer facing engagements.
    • Technical expertise within the Optical Networking, Wide Area Networking and Fiber Infrastructure area
    • High Level Knowledge development in adjacent technology areas including: High Speed Networking and Data Center
    • Excellent client management/resolution and problem solving skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong understanding of business drivers
    • Self-motivated and can work well independently and as part of a team
    • Experience translating business requirements to technical requirements
    • Experience with SOW/BOM creation, scoping/pricing services
    • Experience with design/network architecture
    • Experience as sales engineer
    • Experience with VAR, consulting, or other equivalent
    • Experience with solution/financial justification (translating soft cost/benefits to dollar value, ROI, payback, TCO, hurdle rates, IRR, life-cycle return)
    • Experience with competitive positioning

    Minimum Qualifications/Technical and Education Requirements:

    • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work is required. A master's degree is a plus.
    • Certifications in solutions Netsync provides is a plus from manufacturers or industry leaders
