Detailed Description
Description: A Richardson ISD Warranty Technician for the duration of the Richardson ISD contract whose responsibilities will include, but not be limited to day-to-day management of work load, laptop/desktop/printer triage and repair, interaction with Netsync warranty administrators, interaction with Richardson staff, maintenance of proper work tickets in RISD, Netsync and OEM systems
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular and timely communications with RISD
- Maintain strong working relationship with customer and team
- Address all service calls in a timely manner
- Communicate issue and success to team manager
- Deployment and configuration of new and repurposed equipment
- Removal of decommissioned IT gear
- Interaction with Netsync warranty operations
- Ensure maintenance of proper work tickets in RISD, Netsync and OEM systems
- Maintain inventory of parts
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years IT industry experience
- Familiarity with Apple/PC operating systems and hardware
- Understanding of basic printer repair and configuration
- A+ Certification required
Minimum Qualifications/Technical and Education Requirements: High school diploma or comparable and at least 1 year IT experience
