  • Responsibilities

    Netsync Network Solutions is looking for qualified individuals to fill the role of Enterprise Networking Solution Architect, specializing in design of complex Network and Wireless Infrastructure solutions. As a Solution Architect, specific job responsibilities will vary by client engagement but will focus primarily on technical pre-sales support.

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide technical expertise in customer engagements specifically around Enterprise Networking routing, switching and wireless product portfolios.

    • Assist in the business development life cycle by serving as a Subject Matter Expert to identify and qualify current Enterprise Networking offerings and validate emerging product offerings

    • Assist in the development of Enterprise Networking sales positioning and go to market strategies and deliver sales enablement training to localized sales teams

    • Become the customer's trusted technical advisor on major projects for key accounts, and establish relationship with customer independent of the account manager

    • Maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with customer; interact at all levels within the customer organization

    • Mastery of presenting complex solutions to a variety of technical and nontechnical audiences

    • Ability to listen and communicate orally and in writing to technical, nontechnical, and executive customer contacts

    • Strong understanding of business principles, key drivers, and business models

    • Ability to discuss customer business goals, and provide evaluation and direction in both operational processes and technical architectures

    • Develop and maintain vendor relationships within the Enterprise Networking Channel Partners

    • Development of level of effort and cost estimations for completion of product solutions

    • Development of Statement of Work documentation that translate both business and technical requirements into actionable scope of work items

    • Contribute to team's ability to meet quota targets (revenue, profit)

    • Ability to develop and deliver Customer facing proof-of-concepts, demonstrations, and proposals

    • Create high-level solution design diagrams across the architecture portfolio

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    Mastery knowledge of Enterprise Networking and Wireless technologies (Routing, Switching, Wireless, SD-Networking, SD-WAN) and the design and implementation of the complex networking solutions across a broad range of customer verticals

    • Cisco Catalyst and Nexus Switching
    • Cisc ASR and ISR Routers
    • Cisco DNA Center
    • Cisco WLC and Access Points (preferred)
    • SD-WAN knowledge (preferred)
    • SD-Access knowledge (preferred)

    Experience responding to bids and/or RFPs in Public Sector (preferred)

    Excellent verbal communications and written documentation skills (required)

    Self-motivation but can work well independently and as part of a team

    Experience translating business requirements to technical requirements

    Experience with SOW/BOM creation, scoping of implementation services

    Experience with design/network architecture

    Experience with solution and financial justification (translating soft cost/benefits to dollar value, ROI, payback, TCO, hurdle rates, IRR, life-cycle return)

    Experience with competitive sales positioning

    Previous VAR experience preferred.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/TECHNICAL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • 5+ years of advanced Enterprise Network and Wireless design and implementation experience and customer facing solution-based selling. Proven work experience dealing with major customer accounts.

    • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work is required. A master's degree is a plus.

    • Certifications in solutions Netsync provides is a plus from manufacturers or industry leaders

    • Active CCNP or CCIE preferred
