Our client who is a recognized leader in the mid-enterprise solution space, you will lead the design and solution-architecture for mid-enterprise customers, ensuring scalable, highly available, and secure network infrastructures. You will collaborate closely with Sales Engineering to craft winning proposals and drive technical pre-sales engagements. Your deep expertise in on-premise and public cloud networking will be critical to our clients' success.
Lead end-to-end network solution designs (LAN/WAN, security, data center, cloud-native networking) for mid-enterprise customers
Conduct architecture reviews, proof-of-concepts, and design workshops with stakeholders
Collaborate with Sales Engineers to develop high-quality RFP/RFI responses and technical proposals
Define network security architectures leveraging Fortinet, Cisco ASA/FMC, Aruba ClearPass, etc.
Architect and document cloud networking designs in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP (VPC/VNET design, transit architectures, security groups, routing, firewall integrations)
Establish design standards, best practices, and runbooks for implementation teams
Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers during deployment and handoff phases
Perform architecture assessments and make recommendations to optimize performance, security, and cost
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
8+ years of enterprise network design and architecture experience
Expert knowledge of Fortinet (NSE4+), Cisco (CCNP, CCIE preferred), Dell Networking, and Aruba WLAN/LAN solutions
Proven track record designing complex LAN/WAN, data-center, and cloud-native network architectures
Hands-on experience with AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network, and/or GCP VPC; comfortable with Transit Gateway, SD-WAN, and cloud firewalls
Strong understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and network security principles
Excellent presentation and written communication skills; comfortable leading technical workshops and C-level briefings
Ability to travel regionally to client sites (~20–30%)
Certifications: Fortinet NSE 5–7, Cisco CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Azure Network Engineer Associate, GCP Professional Cloud Network Engineer
Experience with network automation (Ansible, Terraform) and Infrastructure-as-Code
Familiarity with SASE, Zero-Trust, and SD-Branch architectures
