We are seeking a Network Cabling Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for designing and implementing computer and information networks.

Responsibilities:

• Install data cables, test cable networks, troubleshoot complaints, monitor cable performance and/or oversee contractor work, set priorities, and coordinate work schedules.
• Work with unshielded twisted pair, single- and multi-mode fiber optic, coaxial cable, or equivalent.
• Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems, maintain lines, or repair cable.
• Utilize equipment such as analog and digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, breakout boxes, cable scanners, LANmeters, portable sniffers, fiber-optic light source and power meter.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot intra building fiber-optic cables from IDF to wiring closets, terminate with LC and SC type fiber-optic connectors, manufacture and provide fiber patch cords.
• Install, configuration, testing, maintenance and de-installation of cabling and hardware as necessary to support AV equipment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Higher
• Two (2) years experience in electrical cable repair and installation
• Previous experience in networking, IT, or other related fields
• Familiarity with architectural specifications
• Familiarity with researching communication networks
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
