  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer / Senior Network Administrator to support the design, implementation, security, and ongoing administration of enterprise network environments. This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and resiliency across network, telecommunications, and cloud systems.

     

    **Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.**

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software in a primarily Cisco route/switch environment.

    • Administer network and telecom systems following ITIL change management best practices.

    • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network reliability.

    • Implement and support network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and vulnerability mitigation.

    • Oversee cloud VoIP platforms and enterprise network services (DNS, DHCP).

    • Coordinate with vendors and data centers for system implementation and support.

    • Develop documentation, disaster recovery plans, and capacity planning strategies.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

    • 5+ years of network administration experience in a Cisco routing and switching environment.

    • Strong hands-on experience with VLANs, spanning tree, trunking, EtherChannel, QoS.

    • Knowledge of routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP).

    • Experience with firewalls, IPSec VPNs, NAT/PAT, certificates, and network security best practices.

    • Familiarity with Azure cloud networking concepts.

    • Experience with network monitoring/logging tools.

    • Ability to lift and install network/server equipment.

    Preferred

    • Cisco CCNA (minimum); CCNP or Juniper equivalent preferred.

    • Experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms.

    • RADIUS configuration and Windows Server environments.

    • Experience with cloud VoIP platforms (e.g., RingCentral).
