Network Engineer – Senior Cloud Security Consultant, AWS/Azure & Palo Alto Firewalls

Columbia, South Carolina (Hybrid) - Must be local in SC & NC & GA only Contract Position

Required:

5–10 years of experience in Information Security and Engineering

5+ years of experience designing & maintaning infrastructure in AWS and Azure, ; Firewalls in AWS & Azure.

Cloud security design, operations, and automation experience

Ability to document security tools, deployment configurations, and incident reports

Excellent communication skills

Must hold AWS or Azure certification

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Skills

"Experience with the following tools and platforms :

-Prisma Cloud

-Forescout

-Cisco Umbrella

-F5 Load Balancer/Firewall

-Palo Alto Firewalls (in addition to the required VM series experience)"

CISSP - Certified Information Sysytems Security Professional SC 100

Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect, AWS Certified Cloud Solutions Architect

Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer, PCNSA, PCNSE

Experience Deploying, Configuring, and Maintaining Cloud VM Series Palo Alto Firewalls in AWS And Azure

Specific Skills:

AWS & Azure cloud infrastructure design

Palo Alto VM-Series firewall deployment & configuration

Prisma Cloud security operations

Cloud security automation (IaC, SOAR, XDR)

SIEM integration & incident response

Zero Trust architecture implementation

Compliance frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, CMMC, etc.)

Security documentation & configuration tracking

Network & firewall troubleshooting

Certification in AWS or Azure (required)
