Responsibilities:
Lead network engineering, managing ~12 active projects/year for network modernization, integration, and Tier IV escalation.
Develop phased deployment plans and ensure 90% project milestones within ±10% of schedule (AQL).
Perform technical engineering and security reviews to reduce single points of failure.
Coordinate with internal/external entities for issue resolution.
Deliver monthly Engineering Change Proposals, Test Plans, and network drawings.
Provide project management planning to align with DISA priorities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of network engineering experience in DoD environments.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
DoD 8570.01-M/8140 IA certification (e.g., CISSP).
Expertise in Cisco, F5, and network design.
Security Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility (Tier 5 investigation, immediate SCI access).
