  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, including Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and security policies.
    • Administer and maintain Cisco Meraki switching and wireless environments, including VLAN management and connectivity troubleshooting.
    • Monitor network performance and alerts; identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues such as outages, latency, and connectivity disruptions.
    • Perform firmware updates, patching, and assist with change management procedures across network devices.
    • Maintain accurate network documentation and support hybrid connectivity between on-premises systems and cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure).

    Days and Shift Information

    • Full-time position
    • Standard business hours with occasional after-hours support
    • Participation in an on-call rotation for network support and incident response

    Work Environment

    • Office-based or hybrid work environment depending on business needs
    • Collaborative team setting within the TechOps/IT department
    • Fast-paced environment supporting a multi-site enterprise network infrastructure
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
    • Equivalent hands-on experience or relevant certifications may be considered in place of formal education

    Experience

    • 1–3 years of experience in a network support, IT support, or similar technical role
    • Foundational knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and DNS
    • Exposure to or experience with Fortinet firewalls and/or Cisco Meraki environments preferred
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus
    • Experience with network monitoring tools, documentation practices, and basic troubleshooting methodologies

    Additional Information

    Pay / Benefits / Perks

    • Pay rate: $85,000
    • Paid Time Off: Accrue up to five days of PTO in the first year; two weeks of vacation plus one week of PTO accrued upon first anniversary.
