ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Technology Access Foundation partners with school districts, educators, and organizations to improve educational systems and outcomes. The Network for EdWork (NWEW) develops collaborative partnerships among school districts, higher education institutions, nonprofit organizations, and government entities to support educator recruitment, retention, professional development, and leadership advancement.
POSITION SUMMARY ****
The NWEW Program Coordinator supports multiple programs within the Network for EdWork, including the Martinez Fellowship, Ally Engagement, and Education EnCounter. The position coordinates program logistics, events, communications, outreach, data tracking, and online learning platforms to ensure effective program implementation and evaluation. The Program Coordinator works under the direction of the Director of Network for EdWork and collaborates with Program Managers and staff.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinating logistics for workshops, seminars, affinity salons, and large annual events, including securing venues, audiovisual services, catering, supplies, promotional materials, and event vendors
Coordinating guest speakers, managing participant communications, handling registrations, tracking event revenue, and supporting program and organizational budgets
Supporting Program Managers and the Director by scheduling meetings, tracking deadlines, and ensuring alignment across programs and events
Identifying and supporting outreach to partners and collaborators, including higher education institutions and community organizations
Assisting with marketing and communications activities, including newsletters, websites, social media groups, content calendars, and recruitment materials
Supporting participant recruitment efforts by managing applications, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates and partners
Developing and administering participant surveys; collecting, maintaining, and analyzing program data to support program evaluation and improvement
Maintaining databases of vendors, venues, and partners; conducting research on comparable organizations and collaboration opportunities
Managing online course content through the organization’s learning management system, including uploading materials, organizing user groups, and providing technical support
