    Job Description

    This position is intended to provide qualified interns with opportunities to learn about and contribute to the 3-year strategic planning process. The intern will gain experience working with a non-profit boards and organizational leadership. The intern will assist the CEO in the coordinating ad presenting the data collection and input phase of the strategic planning process.

    Key Responsibilities

    ·         Assist with communications and scheduling with the Strategic Planning Committee, the Board of Directors, and the New AP leadership teams

    ·         Take notes at key meetings

    ·         Assist with the collection and analysis of data

    ·         Create spreadsheets and presentations for key meetings

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ·       Strong organization skills; the ability to multitask and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment

    ·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    ·       Basic computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

    ·       Able to work with minimal supervision

    ·       Submit to criminal background check

    ·       Sensitivity to cultural, ethnic and religious diversity

    ·       Interest in working in a nonprofit organization
