We are in search of a Financial Coordinator to join our team in Denver, CO. We are looking for an individual who embodies compassion, and reliability, and possesses a minimum of three years of experience in a dental office role such as an insurance coordinator or administrative assistant. This opportunity is a full-time position with weekly hours ranging from 32-40. Responsibilities: • Appointment coordination for doctors and hygienists with an emphasis on productive booking • Treatment planning, consulting, and case presentation, including continuity and follow-up • A strong grasp of general dental procedures and coding • Efficiently manage accounts receivable, including collections at time of service and balance billing, and closely monitor and reconcile insurance and patient aging reports • Proper reporting, including day sheets, month-end, and practice analysis reports • Ability to coordinate insurance benefits and effectively calculate treatment estimates • Patient communication, treatment coordination, insurance verification, and unscheduled treatment follow-up • Ensure proper deposits and same-day collections • Successfully communicate with the team via morning huddles, patient routing slips, and monthly team meetings to ensure practice is meeting production goals • Extensive knowledge of PPO insurance programs • Strong understanding and implementation of dental protocols and policies • Reduce overhead and maintain solid budgetary parameters • Ensure HIPAA & OSHA compliance within the practice Qualifications: • Able to foster a warm and welcoming environment for staff and patients alike • Understanding of dental insurance • Strong emphasis on synergistic teamwork, quality clinical treatment, and exceptional patient care • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (brevity and simplicity) • Well-versed in CDT/ADA coding and insurance filing • Ability to assess challenges and make astute suggestions to produce positive growth • Strong organizational and time-management skills - efficiency is a key quality in an office manager • Honest, reliable, compassionate, and assertive • Ability to manage ARs, outstanding claims, and billing • Meeting practice goals and metrics Compensation: $24 - $28 hourly BOE
