About the Community Ambassador position

The community ambassador is enthusiastic and willing to be the face of the company and bring their creativity to the table. The Community Ambassador will attend trade shows and do cold calls/door-to-door with referral sources to promote the company. The Community Ambassador will also plan, coordinate, and execute numerous community events for our firm's client-base and referral sources. The overarching goal is to promote our company, foster a community, and generate new relationship opportunities. The Community Ambassador will be an excellent communicator who is driven to promote our company and products. You must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Immigrant Community Ambassador responsibilities are:

• Plan and work with our marketing team to promote weekly community events and quarterly functions. 

• Use social media to promote products and services on the internet

• Monitor and respond to online comments from customers, forwarding these to the Marketing Department

• Track preferences, buying trends, and feedback from customers. Use this to our advantage in a variety of ways.

• Maintain a report on competitor activity in marketing.

• Have a thorough understanding of our products and brands, as well as employing word of mouth or in-person marketing techniques.

• Monitor, create, and share online reviews of our products.

Immigrant Community Ambassador requirements are:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (totally fluent in both languages is a MUST)

• Previous work experience in the field of promotion, marketing, branding, or similar

• Social Media savvy and familiar with management tools such as HootSuite and Buffer

• Excellent professionalism skills, communication, friendly demeanor and outgoing personality.

• Relevant experience in a field such as Marketing or Community Event Planning/Development

• Customer Service sales experience desirable (fast food, retail)

• Public speaking experience
