Job Description
The firm administrative assistant’s role is to support the firm’s attorneys with client relationships, office management, schedule coordination, calendaring, document preparation, legal filings, proofreading, answering calls, maintaining files, and other general administrative tasks. The position demands a high level of professionalism, sound judgment, acute attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage fluctuating demands under accelerated and often changing deadlines. The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships, remain composed and focused under pressure, and communicate clearly and professionally with everyone, in both verbal and written form. Significant knowledge and experience with Outlook, Word (including styles), Excel, Adobe, QuickBooks, PACER, CM/ECF, TXeFile, and other law firm related software is also necessary. Ability to herd cats is a plus.
