NHT Logistics Inc is a trucking/cold storage company established in 1985. Most NHT trucks head into NYC with LTL loads on a Monday through Friday basis, but a few remain in Lancaster County and the surrounding area to provide transportation for local companies. NHT is closed on Sundays. The warehouse and cold storage facilities are a more recent addition to the New Holland Transport company. Our 45,000 sq ft cold storage division was just opened in August of 2018.

NHT Logistics, Inc is looking for a Full Time Second Shift Warehouse Associate to join our team!
Purpose of Position
The Second Shift Warehouse Associate will facilitate unloading and loading of trucks on second shift. This position is responsible for verifying case counts, assuring correct product temperatures, labeling pallets, placing pallets into warehouse racking, order selecting products for shipment, and position trucks and trailers into dock area for unloading or loading.
Certification and Training
The Second Shift Warehouse Associate must be proficient on the following pieces of powered equipment: Electric pallet jack, Electric forklift, Electric Hi / Deep reach truck, and Electric floor scrubber.

Essential Duties
Unload inbound shipments and stage pallets onto dock area.
Label pallets and enter product into inventory using RF scanner.
Place incoming pallets into computer assigned warehouse racking.
Select computer generated orders (mixed products) for shipment.
Locate and retrieve pallets from warehouse racking and stage on dock area for shipping.
Load outbound shipments onto trucks.
Locate and move trucks and trailers to designated loading dock.
Keep warehouse and dock area clean and organized.
Position Requirements
Valid Driver license with the capability to safely operate vehicles as needed
Trained and certified to operate pallet jacks, fork lifts and high-reach equipment.
Detail Oriented – must pay attention to detail
Self-Motivated to complete tasks
Flexible in hours –This position starts at 3 pm and ends upon completion of the required shipping and receiving needs.

Physical Requirements / Environmental Conditions:
The Second Shift Warehouse Associate will need to be physically capable of working in a -15-degree freezer environment, do extended hours of standing, walking, bending and physical work that may include but not limited to: stacking boxes onto pallets and lifting up to 50 lbs. to complete the required tasks.
