The Barndo Co. is looking for a dynamic and highly skilled design team or firm to join us in designing custom plans for our clients. The ideal team will bring a creative and innovative approach to architectural design in residential home projects. You will work closely with our Client Experience team to ensure that every design meets our high standards of quality, sustainability, and functionality. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with our Client Experience team to understand project goals, budget constraints, and design preferences. • Create detailed architectural design concepts, floor plans, elevations, and renderings for custom building projects. • Provide innovative, sustainable, and practical design solutions that meet the aesthetic, functional, and environmental needs of The Barndo Co. • Coordinate with engineering, construction, and permitting teams to ensure designs are buildable, compliant, and aligned with industry standards. • Present design proposals to clients and make revisions based on feedback and project requirements. • Manage the design process from concept through to final approval, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met. Qualifications: • Proficiency in Revit design software. • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and The Barndo Co team. • Ability to balance design innovation with practicality, budget, and construction constraints. • Experience with post-frame construction custom builds or high-end residential design is preferred. • Ability to manage timelines, resources, and client expectations effectively. Compensation: $2,500 - $4,500
