    Proactive Sports Performance was established in 2006 in Westlake Village. Backed with more than 25 years of experience, Proactive Sports has remained a premier location for sports specific and fitness training. Their unique and diverse methods of training have been featured on ESPN, CNN, Men’s Health, HBO, Fox Sports, ABC, and more. With a scientific and systematic approach to training, our Emmy-winning team serves as a consultant for numerous companies. Proactive Sports is opening its new facility partnered with Herbalife Nutrition in March 2021, while keeping their Orange County facility. Proactive Sports is home to more than 100 professional athletes while remaining a top location for local adult fitness, high school, and youth athletes. 

    JOB SUMMARY

    This position is the primary contact representing Company to the public and acts as the conduit for receiving and dispensing information to staff and client base. This position works with internal and external clients to ensure general facility operations are completed.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide comprehensive leadership with an emphasis on operations, hospitality, cleanliness, and sales/profitability.
    • Constant inspection and evaluation of the facility
    • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas and public spaces
    • Ensure all appropriate charges are billed correctly to each client and forwarded to the accounting department for billing
    • Provide support to management
    • Customer service related duties (i.e. answering phones, greeting clients, etc.)
    • Assist in inventory and orders as assigned.
    • Maintain a positive image by reflecting a professional appearance and manner in all interactions with the public and internal associates

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist the front end & back end of the business of all things outside of coaching at Proactive Sports
    • Assist with coordination and communication with cleaning staff and overall facility needs

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Demonstrate excellent leadership skills and sound business ethics
    • Great oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
    • Effectively operate company technology and properly apply computer skills
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships

     

    PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

    • CPR – Certification to be obtained and paid for by Company.

    SCHEDULE

    This is a full-time position and requires individuals to be available to work Monday through Saturday.

    Hours may fluctuate based on business and client needs.  Occasional evenings and overtime may be required.

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

    Occasional travel may be required as needed

    • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, observe, type, see, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; bend or stoop; reach with hands and arms.  The employee is frequently required to walk and stand for up to 4 hours.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
    • Work occasionally requires heavy physical exertion and may include lifting up to 50 pounds.
