The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
- Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Function in a lead engineering role for projects including the completion of the process and hydraulic detailed design, specifications, permit application, and design engineering reports
- Maintain work scope for project engineering within time and budget parameters
- Develop and complete bench/pilot treatability studies
- Manage treatment plant construction
- Provide onsite engineering and treatment operations support
- Review shop drawing submittals and requests for information during equipment fabrication/construction
- Continue to develop and utilize working knowledge of water/wastewater design practices
- Establish and maintain client relationships, with a strong emphasis on communication for client requests and project updates
The successful candidate would have these qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering, with 10+ years of civil/ sanitary experience and a concentration in Water and Wastewater treatment technologies
- Professional Engineer's License required
- Experience in project management is a definite plus
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment modeling software (GPS/Biowin) is a definite plus
- The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and approachability in demeanor to work effectively with peers and clients
- Familiarity with the basic functions in AutoCAD Civil 3D
