The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

• Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices
• Function in a lead engineering role for projects including the completion of the process and hydraulic detailed design, specifications, permit application, and design engineering reports
• Maintain work scope for project engineering within time and budget parameters
• Develop and complete bench/pilot treatability studies
• Manage treatment plant construction
• Provide onsite engineering and treatment operations support
• Review shop drawing submittals and requests for information during equipment fabrication/construction
• Continue to develop and utilize working knowledge of water/wastewater design practices
• Establish and maintain client relationships, with a strong emphasis on communication for client requests and project updates

The successful candidate would have these qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering, with 10+ years of civil/ sanitary experience and a concentration in Water and Wastewater treatment technologies
• Professional Engineer's License required
• Experience in project management is a definite plus
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment modeling software (GPS/Biowin) is a definite plus
• The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and approachability in demeanor to work effectively with peers and clients
• Familiarity with the basic functions in AutoCAD Civil 3D
