The candidate must have melting experience and be willing to work rotating shifts

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR:

1. Provide clear guidance, supervision, and direction to production employees to support departmental operations.
2. Address performance issues promptly and effectively.
3. Actively uphold all company policies and standards, with a strong focus on safety plans and outcomes.
4. Plan and coordinate operations within the designated area of responsibility.
5. Foster a positive work environment by maintaining open communication with shop floor employees, promptly addressing their concerns and issues.
6. Ensure well-organized and productive work areas.
7. Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental and company goals and objectives.
8. Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR:

1. Preferred: A two-year college degree; Required: High school diploma.
2. A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or operational environment, or equivalent expertise as determined by department management.
3. Proficient understanding of industrial and manufacturing principles, standards, methods, and practices.
4. Knowledge of structured problem-solving techniques.
5. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
6. Capable of providing direction, objectively assessing performance, and training and developing team members.
7. Proficiency in problem-solving and project management.
8. Willingness to work in a production-focused environment.
9. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and different shifts.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and adept at making sound decisions.
11. Adaptability to a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.
