Qualifications/Education/Skills:
USCG license and certification, meeting minimum requirements of vessel.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good understanding of all maritime rules and standards.
Must possess a working knowledge of vessel, and be able to operate vessel under all conditions.

Job Purpose:
Responsible for vessel operation, crew safety, and passenger safety.
To maintain daily logs of vessel
To coordinate USCG inspections and regulatory requirements.
To ensure crew training and vessel maintenance.
Essential Functions:
Coordinating vessel activities to ensure a safe and organized operation.
Greeting boarding passengers, narrating cruise, and ensuring quality entertainment.
Making safe and rational decisions during potential emergencies.
Recognizing unsafe conditions on vessel, dock, and surrounding area.
Work Environment:
Interior and exterior of vessel, exposed to extreme weather.
Transitioning from deck to deck, via stairs.
Cramped machinery spaces, including rotating equipment.
