    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Job Title: Office Manager

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Opens building;

    Tracks receipts and enters financial updates (receipts and deposits) in Quick books computer software application;

    Prepares and sends bills to New Pathways Youth Services clients;

    Prepares insurance forms and send to insurance companies

    Prepares monthly financial report summarizing New Pathways Youth Services clients payments and debts;

    Prepares deposits;

    Inventories and purchases cleaning supplies;

    Arranges for needed repairs to building equipment;

    Inventories and purchases office supplies;

    Organizes files and office supplies;

    Maintains and updates New Pathways Youth Services client and financial files;

    Sets up rooms for meetings, including therapy and educational groups;

    Prepares presentations and overhead transparencies;

    Develops informational flyers and pamphlets;

    Coordinates advertising;

    Prepares monthly report on services activities;

    Distributes mail;

    Tracks schedules of professional staff and coordinates appointments;

    Responds to New Pathways Youth Services client and professional inquiries regarding financial transactions and service information;

    Answers phone;

    Types correspondence and reports;

    Performs other tasks as assigned by the Director or other professional staff;

    Attends weekly, bi-weekly or monthly training and meetings;

    Immediate supervisor: Chief Administrative Officer

    Minimum Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university of an Associates degree and two years of experience working for a human services organization; training or experience using word processing and accounting software.

    Ability to use Microsoft Word and/or Google Docs; ability to use Quick books; good problem solving skills; ability to maintain effective working relationships with professional staff, other social services providers, service purchasers, and New Pathways Youth Services clients; excellent organizational skills; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; working knowledge of human services terminology.

    Job Type: Part-time

    Salary: From $18.00 per hour

    Schedule:

    Monday to Friday

    Work Location: In person
