New Patient Care Coordinator Position (Tribeca Physical Therapy)
Tribeca Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced, part-time Front Office Patient Care Coordinator to support our premium outpatient clinic.
This in-person, patient-facing role is ideal for someone confident on the phone and skilled at delivering exceptional hospitality while managing scheduling, insurance verification, payments, and new-patient follow-up in a fast-paced setting.
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented problem solver who enjoys working with people and supporting a team. You’ll help create a warm, seamless, hospitality-driven experience from a patient’s first call through every visit.
This role begins part-time, with the potential to grow into a full-time position based on performance and business needs.
Requirements
3–5 years of front-desk experience required
Healthcare insurance, billing, and collections experience preferred
Strong sales and objection-handling skills, including converting inquiries into evaluations and following up with prospective patients
Ability to thrive in a premium outpatient setting, delivering exceptional hospitality while multitasking effectively, anticipating patient needs, and solving problems quickly
Flexibility and reliability, including the ability to adapt to changing priorities and occasionally cover shifts when a teammate is unexpectedly unavailable
A collaborative mindset and willingness to support the team
Responsibilities
Manage front-desk operations, including computer work, phones, reports, statistics tracking, and scorecards
Contact incoming leads from online sources and Facebook ads
Schedule new-patient evaluations and follow up with prospective patients
Welcome patients and prospective patients with a warm, VIP-level experience
Check in new and existing patients; collect and review required paperwork
Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations
Collect patient payments and manage check-in/check-out procedures
Schedule follow-up visits appropriately
Help create an organized, positive, and enjoyable patient experience

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
